BOUDREAU + GVN SKATING MECHANICS CAMP
This camp will focus on skating mechanics. The on-ice instruction will be provided by Coach Tom Boudreau and Boudreau Hockey and the off-ice instruction will be provided by Jackson Frey of GVN Performance. Each group will be capped at 18 skaters, with the off-ice training corresponding with each day’s on-ice drills. Day 1: Forward Agility; Day 2: Backwards Agility, Day 3: Forward Overspeed; Day 4: Backwards Overspeed; Day 5: Forward and Backward Quick Starts. Schedule: 2012-2015 on ice 9:30 – 10:30 AM, off ice 10:45 – 11:45 AM; 2008-2011 on ice 10:30 – 11:30 AM, off ice 11:45 – 12:45 PM.

Voyageur Hockey will continue to offer Private 1:1, Semi Private, and Small Group Training. There will be no more than EIGHT students per group! Group sizes may vary, but will not exceed eight players. Attached are the summer hours for booking privates; creating your small group; and/or joining a group creating The Great Eight with a few notes:
- Please see where your student is booked for a Private or Semi Private per level of play, and confirm with me that time works. Privates have been determined by those students having those slots in previous summers.
- Please keep in mind that I am trying to coordinate with my student base, and trying to accommodate all requests per the schedule. So, some Private Slots or Semi Private may have an additional player added of similar level of play.

Reason being: what is lost in translation, in terms of teaching execution of knowledge gained, in the attempt to improve a player within an 8 person group down to a 1:1 private is immeasurable versus 30+ players on the ice; particularly when evaluating individual skill sets and subsets to accelerate hockey athleticism.
– With the above approach to teaching over the years, and improvement in teaching methodology, has resulted in many students JUMPING ONE to FOUR LEVELS in a calendar year. There are too many success stories to share!
